Celebrate your birthday in Lesser Poland – Best ideas for a fabulous party
Having a round anniversary and want to celebrate it in a special way? Or maybe you just want to break up with the routine and try something new? You are on the right page! Why won’t you visit Lesser Poland with its fabulous capital – Krakow? Check out our suggestions and provide yourself truly unforgettable memories!
Eneryglandia Amusement Park
Located in Zator, Energylandia 2000 is the biggest amusement park in Poland. It stretches about 26 hectares. Opened in 2014, the park features many attractions for adrenaline junkies, including rollercoasters, water rides and carousels, and others. Depending on how extreme attractions you want to enjoy, you can choose one of the three zones inside. Two of them are designed mostly for children. There is, however, the “Extreme Zone”, where you can try e.g. famous Mayan Roller Coaster. The only drawbacks are location and prize. Prepare for a longer trip, as Zator is about 50 kilometers (31 mi) away from Krakow. Also, the regular entrance ticket costs 129PLN.
Rafting on Dunajec River
Running through the national park of Pieniny, the Dunajec River attracts each year thousands of tourists who come here rafting, both professionals and rookies. You don’t need to have any previous experience in canoeing. There are many companies which organize white water canoeing for families with children, business trips etc. Anyways, you shall always get an instructor, who will be with you. After the sports emotions, it is always nice to organize a picnic or grill and chill out a bit.
Moving back to Krakow’s attractions, we go straight to the GoJump Trampoline Park. There are two sports centers devoted to trampoline jumping in Krakow. Each of them offers dozens of trampolines for younger and older users. Provide yourself a bit of healthy cardio, bouncing with your friends as long as you have strength. Have fun together, relieving your stress and toning up your muscles. Should we carry on listing? The only drawback is that you have to do like jumping and don’t get bored after an hour.
In case none of the above mentioned Krakow’s attractions drew your attention, have you ever heard of axe throwing? A new hot sport discipline, coming straight from the ancient Vikings times and taking European parties by storm. Of course, we don’t mean throwing axes at your drunk uncle on a house party, but a professionally prepared club, specializing in this form of sport. If you look for some really unique for a birthday party in Krakow, check out Bad Axe club on Basztowa 10 Street. Inside you can count on catering offers, commemorative photos and 4 carefully prepared lanes, all in accordance with the highest safety standards.
From white water canoeing to axe throwing, Krakow and its surroundings teems with manifold attractions. If you are still wondering what to do for your birthday, Lesser Poland can be a perfect option.
